HK Youth Lacrosse Junior Girls Team Wins Last 3 Games

The 5th-6th grade girls are on a winning streak midseason!  On Friday May 25th, the team played in a round robin under the lights at the Madison Surf Club.  The girls played 2 games that night, winning them both.  They played Clinton with a final score of 3-2.  Maria Cipriano, Natalie Korpinen, and Celia Payfa scored goals, with goalie Taylor Esposito making 8 fantastic saves to help her team win. Later that night the team took on Madison and won with a final score of 6-4.  Maria Cipriano, Celia Payfa, and Andie Roman each scored a goal with Natalie Korpinen scoring 3 goals.On Tuesday May 29th the team played Branford and won with a final score of 15-13.  Players scoring for HK include Emma Anziano, Maria Cipriano (2), Gabrielle Dunn, Hayley Dunn, Sarah Everts, Leah Forte, Natalie Korpinen (3), Celia Payfa (2), Kerri Peoples, Andie Roman, and Brianna Yepes.  Goalies Caleigh Beecher and Taylor Esposito both made saves, 5 and 4 respectively.  The girls will play again Wednesday May 30th vs. Clinton and Saturay June 2nd at the Branford Jamboree.
