Girl Scout cookies go on sale today. If you're interested in ordering cookies from Girl Scout Troop 62650 or Troop 62127 of Durham, email durhamgs27@comcast.net.
It's that time of year again. Starting today, Girl Scouts in your area and around Connecticut and the country will begin taking orders for their cookies.
Girl Scouts learn five important skills from participating in the cookie program: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

Orders begin: January 7

Cookie deliveries begin: March 3
Cookie booth sales: March 3 - April 1 (Stay tuned to Patch for details)
Cost: $4 per box (On average, a troop earns $.75 per box of cookies sold, with proceeds going to a number of troop projects, initiatives and trips.)

Where to buy: To find Girl Scouts in your area, click here. If you know a Girl Scout be sure to tell friends who migh be interested in buying some cookies. You may also get a visit from a Girl Scout.
