Update: Hikers Rescued from Beseck Mountain Identified

A man and a woman from Wethersfield were rescued by emergency officials early Saturday morning after falling off a cliff.

 

According to WFSB.com, two hikers rescued Saturday morning after falling off a cliff along Beseck Mountain in Middlefield are from Wethersfield.

The website reports the victims as Linda Klapatch, 25, and Connor Mullen, 28.

Both are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Hartford Hospital, according to WFSB.com.

Firefighters rescued Klapatch and Mullen early Saturday morning after the pair fell about 100 feet down a cliff off of Mattabeseck Road.
