Durham and five other area towns have applied for a $160,000 grant to reduce energy costs by converting lighting.

 

The Town of Durham and other members of have applied for a $160,000 grant that would reduce the towns' energy footprint.

The money is leftover from the American Recovery Reinvestment Act, according to the New Haven Register.
