Town Would Save Money with Energy Grant

Durham and five other area towns have applied for a $160,000 grant to reduce energy costs by converting lighting.

The Town of Durham and other members of have applied for a $160,000 grant that would reduce the towns' energy footprint.

The money is leftover from the American Recovery Reinvestment Act, according to the New Haven Register.

The money would be spent on replacing lights at and .
