State Police Investigating Road Sign Vandalism in Durham

Damage is negatively impacting the safety of roadways and costly to the town, First Selectman says.

Over the past several days someone has vandalized many road signs in the Johnson Lane, Maiden Lane, Haddam Quarter Road, Bear Rock Road areas.  This includes street name signs and traffic signs. The damage has already cost the town hundreds of dollars.

More importantly however, the damage is negatively impacting the safety of our roadways.  The state police will be monitoring this area. If you have any information that can help police stop the vandalism, please call 911 if you see anyone in the act or call 860 399-2100 if you have any helpful information.
