Since this is a high "pedestrian/runner road", let's hope this actually works. Unbelievably, I've had people pass me on the straightaway near Picket Lane on a regular basis. I'm truly surprised that there haven't been more accidents on Maiden. Now, if we can just get people to actually stop at the stop signs along the way (especially the ones near Wheeler Hill Drive), we'll be getting somewhere!

let me tell you my storey from Rt 17 this morning.I was northbound and the traffice is awful because people are coming in and out of Pickett lane and Strong school. We are in a line of traffice and the light at 68 in red,so we can't go anyplace so I am letting the buses and car out on to Rt 17 well the jerk behind me is honking his horn and making all kinds of hand jesters. I wave back and tell him to chill and have a good day. In back of the last bus is a trooper so my miserable friend waves the trooper outon front of him....what a jerk for so early in the a.m. and on such a beautiful day. he continue to make motion to me as we stopped at red light at 68. When I turned on to Maiden Lane I just waved good bye to him. I feel soory that we have these kind of people going thru our town or maybe worse like in town. hope he doesn't have any children!!!!!
