Rocket Launch at White Farm Dedicated to Newtown Shooting Victims

Members of the CATO sport rocketry club held a drag race in Durham on Saturday in memory of the 20 children and six adults who lost their lives in a school massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School this week.

 

Rocket fliers visited Durham on Saturday to participate in a drag race at White Farm, an event that included a touching tribute to the victim's of Friday's deadly school massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

The CATO launch was dedicated to the victims of the shootings, which included 20 children.

"Hopefully those kids will be watching from heaven and get a little thrill here," an announcer could be heard over a loudspeaker.
