Report: Lawyer Appointed to Children in Middlefield Child Abuse Case

Tamara and Peter Gable are facing child abuse charges following an investigation by state police last year.

The adopted children at the center of an investigation into alleged child abuse by a Middlefield couple have been appointed a lawyer, according to a report in the Middletown Press.

Tamara and Peter Gable appeared in court Thursday where they face three counts of risk of injury to a minor and three counts of third-degree assault following their arrest last fall.

According to state police, authorities began investigating the abuse last April.

The couple is due back in court on Jan. 30.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
