Priests Offer Support During Power Outage
Rev. Michael Giannitelli and Rev. James Sucholet visited the shelter at Coginchaug High School Wednesday to offer support to residents.
Father Michael Giannitelli and Father James Sucholet returned to Notre Dame Church on Wednesday to find the church had power again.
A parishioner suggested they visit the shelter at Coginchaug High School where hundreds still without power have come for warmth, food and showers.
Giannitelli and Sucholet, who also serve parishioners at St. Colman Church in Middlefield, met with residents to offer words of encouragement and will return again Wednesday afternoon.
