Power Back on for Everyone... Almost

Crews spend the Labor Day holiday working to restore power to the remainder of homes and businesses still in the dark from Hurricane Irene.

Eight days after Hurricane Irene knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses in the area, only two homes remained in the dark as of 8:30 p.m. Monday evening, according to Connecticut Light and Power's outage map.

One customer in Durham, another in Killingworth. (Statewide there are still more than 1,300 customers in the dark)
