Pasta Supper to Benefit Boy Scouts Trip
Boy Scouts from Troop 27 in Durham are raising money for an upcoming trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
The Philmont Crew from Boy Scout Troop 27 will be hosting a Pasta Supper on
March 25 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Hall. Tickets are $7 per person and $25 per family of 4. Tickets may be bought at the door or
in advance (contact Rita Van Steenbergen at 860-349-1191).
The boys are raising money for their upcoming trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Their backpacking high-adventure will include some aspects not only of hiking beautiful mountains and living out of their backpacks, but western history, rock climbing, wildlife observation, gold panning, archeology and many other outdoor activities.
