North Branford's Myerson Headlines Fishing & Hunting Show

The striped bass world record holder will be a featured seminar presenter at the 16th annual Northeast Fishing & Hunting Show in Hartford from Feb. 15-17.

Striped bass world record holder Greg Myerson of North Branford will be one of several featured presenters at the upcoming 16th annual Northeast Fishing & Hunting Show.

The event is being held Feb. 15-17 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford and features hundreds of booths showcasing the latest news and products for fishing and hunting enthusiasts and is designed as a great outing for the entire family.

“Attendees will discover the newest fishing, hunting and outdoor equipment by some of the top manufacturers and can purchase a variety of products,” says organizer Kristie Gonsalves, President of North East Expos. “They will meet charter boat captains, check out new models of fishing boats, watch fly casting and fly tying demonstrations, and enjoy lots of interactive activities.”

Myerson, who caught the world record 81.88-pound striped bass back in Aug. 2011, is scheduled as one of several featured presenters, along with The Mad Fisherman, Charlie Moore, and legendary Vermont whitetail buck tracker, Lane Benoit.

Admission is $12 for adults, $4 for children between 5 to 12 and free for kids under five. All activities are included with the price of admission.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
