Lyman Orchards has donated $44,064 to the American Cancer Society, following its most successful Corn Maze ever last fall.
John Lyman III, executive vice president of Lyman Orchards, presented a check to the organization on Saturday, April 16, in front of a crowd gathered for the Easter Apple Hunt.
"We donate one dollar from each ticket we sell to the corn maze. This past year 44,000 people visited, so thank you," Lyman said.
American Cancer Society representatives Lynn Kipphut, who serves as a community executive for development, and Mary Kate Doherty, an area director for Relay For Life, graciously accepted the donation.
Over the past 11 years, Lyman Orchards has donated $313,034 to the American Cancer Society.
