Hundreds Lose Power in Middlefield Monday Night

Nearly 400 homes lost power around 9 p.m. according to CL&P.

Nearly 400 Connecticut Light and Power customers in Middlefield lost power for more than an hour late Monday night.

The outages were reported shortly after 9 p.m.

According to CL&P's website 383 customers were in the dark as of 9:30 p.m.

The outages were primarily in the Lake Beseck area.

Middlefield fire crews responded to Mohican Road, but the exact cause of the power outages is not known.

Full power was restored before midnight.
