Farmers' Market Canceled Due to Weather

Severe weather is expected to pass through Durham area Thursday afternoon.

 

Today's Farmers' Market in Durham has been canceled due to the impending severe weather forecast this afternoon.

The following is a hazardous weather outlook for Northern Middlesex County from the National Weather Service:

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL ARE THE MAIN THREATS. LARGE HAIL IS POSSIBLE AS WELL. AN ISOLATED TORNADO CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

The market will resume Thursday, Aug. 2.
