Update: HK Schools Closed on Monday and the HK Middle School is Open as Shelter on Sunday
Haddam-Killingworth Middle School will remain open to residents in need of shelter. Schools are closed on Monday for students.
Haddam Killingworth Middle School, at 451 Route 81, will be open as a shelter for water, battery charging, and electrical supply for medical devices, on Sunday afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Haddam Killingworth schools will be closed on Monday, October 31.
As of 4 p.m. Sunday, 824 Connecticut Light and Power customers were without power in Killingworth and 2202 customers in Haddam did not have electricty.
