Dump Your Hazardous Waste, Get a Free Thermometer

On Saturday, Oct. 8 residents from several local commnities can dispose of their household hazardous waste -- items include batteries and lightbulbs -- at Moody School in Middletown.

The household hazardous waste collection day is open to residents of Cromwell, Durham, East Hampton, Middlefield, Middletown and Portland.

Also, bring your mercury thermometers to the collection site and exchange them for a FREE digital thermometer (while supplies last).
