Daily Five: GMonkey Mobile Food Truck Putting Durham on the Map

2. Mobile Food Truck Love A big Patch shout-out to Durham's Mark and Ami Shadle! The pair's mobile food truck, affectionately known as gmonkey, was recently named among the nation's healthiest food trucks by greatist.com

Actually, gmonkey was ranked #6 among 26 mobile food trucks. We're impressed because the top five trucks are from Austin, Boston, New York and San Diego. 

"To be recognized in this way so early in our mission makes all the hard work and dedication worth it," said Ami. "We are changing lives one meal at a time and we couldnt be happier. The "G" sustainable mission is on the move and the nation is already taking notice and its clear we are all heading in the right direction. This is the beginning of something big for the planet as a whole."

4. Lyman Orchards' Sunflower Maze Now Open For every Sunflower Maze ticket sold, Lyman supports the fight against childhood cancer by contributing $1 to the pediatric cancer unit at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford. To date, Lyman Orchards has donated more than $28,000.
