2. Solarize Durham The town has now surpassed 360 kW, according to First Selectman Laura Francis. "I'm proud of our team," she said. Signups continue for the pilot program which encourages residents to sign up for solar energy.

Saturday, Nov. 24th - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

4. Financial Aid Night Rescheduled The Coginchaug Regional High School Guidance Department has rescheduled their Financial Aid Night to Wednesday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m.  The presentation will take place in the high school auditorium.  Andrea Oden and Tim Higgins from The Financial Aid Consulting Team of Plainville will be presenting.  They will be focusing on planning and paying for college.  Students are encouraged to attend with their parents.  This presentation is open to all families in the community.  

5. Middlefield Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony The town's Park & Recreation Department has scheduled the event for Sunday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. at the town's green.
