1. What's the Weather? A mix of rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 2 p.m, then rain and sleet likely. High near 35. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Tonight: A slight chance of rain and sleet before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26.

2. Water for Durham Do you have something to say about the proposed plan to bring water from Middletown into Durham? The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is accepting comments on its Environmental Impact Evaluation until Feb. 1.

3. Give Blood, Get Coffee The Durham Women's Club is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 23 at Notre Dame Church Hall. All donors will receive a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee. Find out more here.

4. Maple Sugaring 101 If you're interested in making your own maple syrup, don't miss this how-to event at the Durham Public Library this weekend.

5. A Little Night’s Music  This event is hosted by the Durham Public Library and the Levi E. Coe Library as part of this year’s “One Book, One Community.” The selected book for this year is “Empire Falls,” written by Richard Russo, and is about life in a small community. The event is Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at The Levi E. Coe Library-Library Hall.

Enjoy a night of family fun, music and sing-a-long entertainment with the Middlefield Ukelele Club.
