Blue Devils' Season Ends After Loss to Hale Ray
Coginchaug unable to hang on to lead in Quarterfinals of state tournament.
Despite beating Hale Ray 1-0 during the regular season (part of an 11-game winning streak), the Coginchaug softball team was eliminated from the Class S State Softball Tournament on Friday, following a 7-6 eight inning loss to the Noise.
