Durham Resident Reports Bear Sighting Along Tuttle Road

Residents urged to report bear sightings with state.

A Durham resident reports seeing a black bear around 7 a.m. Tuesday, crossing through a yard on Tuttle Road.

The animal was reportedly walking along a small brook located in the area.

A resident reported seeing a black bear in the Howd Road area of Durham earlier today.

The town is reminding residents to report all sightings to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
