Beat the Heat with Music and Ice Cream

Sign-up now for next week's Musical Ice Cream Social at the Middlefield Senior Center.

 

The annual Musical Ice Cream Social will be held on Wednesday July 25th at 1:30 at the Senior Center.  The ice cream and toppings are generously donated by Middlesex Health Care Center.  Enjoy the sounds of summer with Rob & Jen from “Sign of the Times”.  This event is free, but space is limited and reservations need to be made by 7/19.

Free Blood Pressure screenings are offered every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at noon.  The next screening will be held on July 18th . No appointment necessary. 

Card games are played 3 times a week at the center. Set back is played on Tuesdays at 1:00 and bridge every Thursday and Friday at 12:45.  These are drop in games no registration or sign up is needed.

The knitters and crochets meet through the summer at the summer on Thursday mornings at 9:30.  A big delivery of their afghans was just made to the Middlesex Cancer Center.  All are welcome to come,  bring projects that you are working on or come and learn a great craft.  Yarn and needles are stocked and the coffee is always perking.

The Middlefield Senior Center is located in the Middlefield Community Center at 405 Main Street.  If you have any questions or would like to sign up for any programs or for lunch in the Senior Café(serving on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays), please contact Antoinette Astle at 860-349-7121.
