Super-fans travel from Georgia to Durham to see Steel Magnolia perform at the Durham Fair.
Wanda Jackson traveled about 800 miles with her sister, Jen, and 87-year-old "Granny" to watch Steel Magnolia perform at the Durham Fair on Sunday, Sept. 25.
Jackson, who has been to numerous Steel Magnolia concerts, began the 17 hour trip shortly after calling Durham Fair Secretary Karin Thody, who agreed to set up a meet-and-greet with the duo.
Unfortunately, by the time Jackson arrived in Sunday, Joshua Scott Jones had pulled out of the concert for an undisclosed reason.

He later announced that he was entering treatment for alcohol and substance abuse.
