C Squad Battle in Close Game

On Sunday the HK Cougars returned for sweet revenge against the Falcons "C" squad who two weeks prior defeated them in the Salomone Cup game. It was a battle for field position the entire game. Defensively the Falcons shut down the Cougars run game, but in the middle of the second quarter, the Cougars connected on a pass play over the middle to get the Cougars on the board 6-0. The Falcons denied the extra point with a sack in the backfield ending the half with a score 6-0. In the second half, the Falcons drove the ball several time down inside the 10 yard line but could not punch it in to tie the game. The outcome was a final score of 6-0 in favor of the Cougars.
