On April 27, Coginchaug Little League celebrated the 20th anniversary of its 1993 New England Championship winning softball team.
Several members of the team returned to Durham to be honored, including coach Ray Arrigoni, who led the 11 and 12-year-old all stars to within one game of the 1993 Little League Softball World Series.
At the end of the season, the team was ranked the 8th best softball team in the country.
