The Vista Arts Center, which is a part of Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center, is happy to announce their Art Show at the beautiful Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, CT. This event will feature a display of works created by the artists of the Vista Arts Center. The mission of the Vista Arts Center is to provide quality arts programming to a diverse, adult population that promotes self-expression and learning in a nurturing, noncompetitive environment. The Arts Center’s goals include increasing arts participation for Vista Vocational & Life Skills Students/Members, and increasing artistic skill, self-expression, self-esteem, social engagement, and independence for all participants. The Vista Arts Center believes in the therapeutic and educational benefits of the arts, the value of life-long learning and realizing an individual’s full potential, helping students develop and achieve individual goals, the importance of nurturing and maintaining a strong community presence and reciprocal relationship, and respecting the uniqueness of all Vista Arts Center students.
