Middlesex County Career Fair is Tuesday, Oct. 29 in Cromwell

WETHERSFIELD — Jobseekers should bring along plenty of résumés when they stop by the Middlesex County Career Fair taking place tomorrow, Oct. 29, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell.

Recruiters from more than 45 companies will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., looking to fill a wide variety of positions ranging from management to entry level.

Professional résumé writers from the Labor Department will be available throughout the day to review résumés, while a “Successful Job Search Campaign Messages” workshop facilitated by staff from the agency’s Employment and Training Unit will be presented at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Designed to help those who are currently unemployed as well as those seeking a new career direction, it will feature such topics as résumé writing tips, using social media, and interviewing techniques.
