Fried Dough Fundraiser To Benefit Local
Eagle Scout Projects

Durham- August 25, 2012:  Boy Scouts Matt Amendola and Connor Bates along with Troop 270 are holding a fried dough fundraiser dinner at the United Churches, 228 Main Street.  The dinner will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the church hall.  The cost of the dinner is $6.00 and includes fried dough with choice of topping, a drink choice, and a dessert choice.  It’s a great and affordable opportunity for families to have relief from cooking in the summer and support their local Boy Scouts.

The dinner is being held to raise money to cover the cost of a completed barbecue pit designed and organized by Matt Amendola.  The pit is currently being utilized by United Churches and the congregation.

A pending project has been designed and organized by Connor Bates.  His project will provide Brewster School with an outdoor classroom area for teachers and students to utilize for a variety of activities.  For more information visit http://outdoorclassroomforbrewsterschoo.weebly.com/

Please help support the ambitions and goals of each Scout by joining Troop 270 for a family night out.  They look forward to seeing you.
