Durham Restaurant's Future Unclear

Santino's Restaurant remained closed on Friday, days after the electric company turned off power to the building.

Just four months after opening its doors on Main Street, Santino's Restaurant in Durham is closed.

A notice on the door at the restaurant at 325 Main Street says it will be back open again on March 16, but reached Thursday owner Sal Salafia said he hoped to be open sooner.

Salafia opened Santino's in November after Durham's Kitchen, one of the town's few breakfast spots, closed when its owner decided to open a bar in Middletown.

Salafia said he planned to resolve an issue with his power company which turned off electricty to the restaurant earlier this week.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
