Deadline Tuesday for CL&P Storm Credit

Customers have until 5 p.m. Tuesday to apply for credit as a result of power outages from the Oct. 29 nor'easter.

 

Connecticut Light & Power customers have until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 to apply for a credit on their electric bills following the Oct. 29 nor'easter.

The credit ranges between $100 and $200 for customers who were without power for more than a week after the snowstorm. More than 800,000 customers were affected by the rare but powerful October storm, and some were without power for up to 11 days.

The credit will be applied to the February 2012 CL&P bill, but to be eligible you must have been without power as of 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
