Annual Holiday Gift Drive

Once again, the Brewster School, children will make a difference in the life of another child. Brewster will be collecting gifts for the annual holiday gift drive to benefit the Albert J. Solnit Children's Center. The Solnit Center is a publicly operated psychiatric hospital for children in the state affiliated with DCF. They have served 369 children in the past two years from across the state. The reality of the winter holiday season for many of the children at the center is that the holidays are a time filled with loneliness and the sadness of not being with family members.

Brewster and Korn Schools have been one of the biggest contributors of gifts in the past few years. We hope that you will encourage your child to participate in this annual opportunity to enjoy the true spirit of the holidays. Unwrapped gifts may be placed in our holiday display at each school. If you wish to make a monetary donation, a check made payable to Albert J. Solnit Patient Activity fund would be most welcome. All monies received are expended only for patient activities and gifts.
