Art Bra Runway Show Moves to Oakdale Theatre
The popular annual fundraiser hosted by After The Storm Inc. benefits cancer survivors in their road to recovery.
Tickets are now on sale for the Fifth Annual Art Bra Runway Show at The Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Thursday, August 15.
After The Storm Inc., a charity founded by Middlefield resident Christine Willett, raised more than $26,000 during last year's event for cancer survivors in Connecticut.
"It's a great girls night out," said Willett, a breast cancer survivor. "It's a good time, a lot of laughs. We don't even know what's going to happen until it happens. It's a unique experience that you're not going to get anywhere else."
Models will walk the runway in over two dozen bras, each with their own unique twist, to be auctioned off. Each bra also includes a prize this year.
Tickets are $45 and the shows includes the always popular man half-time show, food and drinks, raffles from local businesses and a photo booth. Special VIP seating is available for $50 per ticket.
The show is scheduled for 6:30-10 p.m.
