Teen Driver Injured In Truck Rollover In Durham

A teenager was injured Thursday morning in a rollover crash along Johnson Lane in Durham.

The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. Just north of the intersection of Haddam Quarter Road.

Police say the 17-year-old lost control coming around a sharp corner and flipped the Chevy S-10 pickup truck over into a ditch.

The teen, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Skid marks from the crash were visible along the roadway and police say speed was a factor in the crash.

The posted speed limit near the scene of the crash is 25 mph.
