Theater Camp Offered for Durham, Middlefield Students

What: Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services is proud to announce Youth Summer Stock Theatre 2013. Join Director Heather McCutchen and bring Dr. Seuss’ fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, Suessical, Jr. to life in Middlefield! The theatre camp is for Durham and Middlefield students entering grades five, six, seven, eight and nine.  The tuition for this two-week camp is $250.00; there is limited financial aid available.  Participants will be involved in all facets of the production including acting, singing, stage, prop and costume design.  Register for Youth Summer Stock Theater 2013 by stopping at Youth and Family Services or online by visiting Youth and Family’s web site, www.dmyfs.org . Applicants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis with no phone registrations taken. 

When: Youth Summer Stock will be held Monday, July 8th, through Friday July 12th and Monday, July 15th through Friday July 19th.  It will start at 9:00 AM and run until 2:30 PM.  Four final public performances will be staged at the Middlefield Community Building on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20.
