New Automated System at Killingworth Library

New system allows you to renew items, place reserves, write reviews and create personal bibliographies.

The has migrated to a new automated system, leaving behind its outdated software and finally stepping into the 21st century. The new program - AGent VERSO - is designed and hosted by Auto-Graphics, a company dedicated to library software since 1950. VERSO ultimately streamlines the staff's work in cataloging and interlibrary loan, and provides a number of wonderful interactive features for our patrons.

To get started with VERSO, visit the library's website - there is currently a link on the homepage, and will always be one on the card catalog page. When you open the program, login using your library barcode number and the password: userpass (you will be prompted to change that as you continue). Once you have signed into VERSO, you can access your account to renew items or place reserves; sign up for weekly email alerts; write reviews; and create personal bibliographies. From the Advanced Search screen, you can search the ReQuest online card catalog for statewide holdings and place interlibrary loans (detailed instructions on our website's card catalog page - the old system of placing ILLs no longer works, but this one is easier!).

Please take the time to explore everything VERSO has to offer, and stop by the library for a tutorial from one of our staff members or volunteers.
