Music Festival in Durham This Weekend (Oct. 7-8)

Third Annual Fall Down Festival features eclectic mix of music.

With the likes of KC And The Sunshine Band and Blues Traveler having just played The Durham Fair and with such deeply rooted historical musical venues as Toad’s Place in New Haven and Sully’s in Hartford, the Nutmeg State’s music scene is quietly hip.

Let’s not tell a lie, being located between New York City and Boston doesn’t hurt in motivating bands to schedule a date in Connecticut. But the truth of the matter is that the tykes to the giants all stop in our humble state to play, to perform, to live for one night in Connecticut for the energy shows here create.

In following such traditions, local company Beamstar Productions is hosting the Third Annual Fall Down at Camp Farnam in Durham, CT on Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8.
