Middlefield Senior Center Shares Spring News

Bocce, blood pressure screenings, card games and more!

 

There's a whole lot going on at the --take note so you don't miss out!

According to an email from the center, here are a few upcoming happenings, that do not require registration, to add to your calendar:

  • Summer bocce begins June 12; drop in Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and bring your lawn chair
  • Screening of "I Don't Know How She Does It" on May 30 at 1 p.m.
  • Blood pressure screenings are held the first and third Wednesday of the month at noon; please note that screening will not be held on June 20
  • Card games; setback is at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and bridge at 12:45 on Thursdays and Fridays

The center is also looking for donations of yarn, the email says. The center's knitting groups use 4-ply worsted weight yarn to make afghans for the Middlesex Cancer Center and the MidState Cancer Center.

Yarn donations can be dropped off at the senior center.
