Durham Holds Ceremony Remembering September 11

Residents gathered for a brief reflection, some music and a moment of silence Wednesday evening to remember the 9/11 attacks.

A crowd of Durham residents gathered on the Town Green Wednesday afternoon to remember the victims killed in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

Honoring the 12th anniversary of the tragedy, a group of Coginchaug High School singers performed a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, and student Daniel Drop sang "I'm Proud to Be an American."

Emcee Karen Kean led the event with some reflections on 9/11 and the impact it had on the country and the victims.

See the above pictures for more on this ceremony.
