Durham Dancer to Perform at Halftime of Orange Bowl

16-year-old Kaitlyn Mentlick and dancers from Middletown's Stage Left Dance Studio were invited to the national title game between Notre Dame and Alabama.

 

Coginchaug High School student Kaitlyn Mentlick of Durham and 11 other dancers from Middletown's Stage Left Dance Studio have been invited to perform at the Jan. 7 Orange Bowl, according to the Middletown Press.

“I’m so excited. Hopefully we’ll be seen on camera. Look for us on ESPN,” she said.

The game will feature undefeated Notre Dame against Alabama for the Discover BCS National Championship and will be televised live on ESPN.
