Army private Nick Agramonte of Durham was recently honored by the Coginchaug High School football team with a Veterans Star.
Blue Devil football players are volunteering to paint 30-inch tall white stars on the foot of the driveways of all veterans, active duty service members, and reservists from Durham and Middlefield. The Veteran’s Star will let everyone know that they are passing the home of one who has served and sacrificed.
Agramonte is a 2012 graduate of Coginchaug High School and was captain of the 2011 football team. He is currently deployed to South Korea.
