Tip a buff, brave firefighter at Tuscany Grill for MARC

Tuscany Grill will host the 12th annual Tip-a-Firefighter fundraiser for MARC: Community Resources in Middletown Friday, Oct. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are encouraged for parties of five or more.

During the event, the Middletown Fire Department’s 2014 calendar will be released and sold for $20 each. All proceeds benefit MARC’s leisure and advocacy programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A portion of calendar sales also supports the Middletown Firefighters Local 1073 Charitable Fund.

“We’ve been hosting Tip-a-Firefighter and Tip-a-Cop events for several years, along with various other fundraisers,” Tuscany Grill co-owner Brenda Reilly said. “Our mission is to give back to the community.”
