The theme this year is Small Town Life and Empire Falls, by Richard Russo has been selected as our community read. The Universe of Fair by Durham resident Leslie Bulion,to be published in August, will be our related title for children. We have received a grant from CVEF to support this program. Special programs and events will most likely start in January.

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
