For the 22nd consecutive year the Durham Recreation Department will host the very popular Tuesday night Summer Fun runs beginning June 26 at 6:00pm. The series will continue each Tuesday until Aug 14. There will be races for all age groups with courses ranging from one lap around the track for youngsters to the 3.3 mile adult race. As in the past, ribbons will be awarded to the youngsters and school age runners. Entry is open to all comers.
Results will appear weekly at Patch and in the Town Times. There is no cost for this program, which will be directed by CRHS track coach Dave Bellemare. Open registration will be held each Tuesday night. The evening program will be canceled in the event of dangerous weather or high heat index conditions.
