Cool Off at the Library!

With this wave of dangerous heat moving through, we're all desperate for a place to cool down. Remember that your local library is the perfect "cooling center". Check out what the Killingworth Library has to offer (along with air conditioning): Internet and wifi access, magazines and newspapers, a listening center, a water cooler, games and puzzles, and oh yeah... books! Even if you just want to sit down and chat, please do - we're not a "quiet" library.
Killingworth Library is open Wednesday, 10am-4:30pm ; Thursday, 10am-8:00pm ; and both Friday and Saturday, 10am-4:30pm. Stay cool!

I would suggest to parents to donate a book to the classroom or school library in their child's nameRead More to celebrate the child's birthday, or other significant event, instead of sending in cupcakes or other sweets.
