Come Take a Look!

The Independent Day School is having Open House on Tuesday, February 5, from 3:30-5:30PM; and Friday, February 8, from 8:15-10:00AM for families interested in learning more about their Age 3 - Grade 8 program.  On Saturday, February 9, from 9:30AM-1:00PM there is an open house for parents and students entering grades 6-8 to "Explore Middle School at IDS."   This program includes lunch.

The Independent Day School, located at 115 Laurel Brook Road in Middlefield, is a small, co-educational school for three-year-olds through eighth grade.  Families of diverse backgrounds experience a challenging 21st century curriculum in a warm, supportive, environment.  The fearless student experience is enriched with a school garden, a nature trail, K-8 Science labs, K-8 Spanish, sports, physical education, studio arts, music and performing arts.  IDS offers a complete and personalized program to help each Eighth Grade student find the appropriate high school to best meet his or her individual needs.  IDS graduates are consistently accepted by the top high schools in the region.
