Good morning Durham and Middlefield! Here are five things to start your day:

  1. In case you missed it: the results of a Region 13 superintendent survey have been released and the public is encouraged to take a look at it. We published a story on it yesterday, which can be viewed here.

  2. The latest Durham and Middlefield bus schedule for the elderly is now available for the month of October 2013. You can see it here.

  3. Coginchaug varsity football will face Valley Regional/Old Lyme on Friday, Sept. 20, at Valley Regional High School in Deep River. Details here.

  4. Are you ready for the Ukulele Monthly "Jam" this weekend in Middlefield? It's happening at the Community Center, located at 405 Main St. More details here.

  5. WEATHER: A high of 73 degrees, dipping back down to 44 tonight, followed by a hike up to a high of 77 degrees tomorrow and back down to 50 at night. Then we get one more day of nicer temperatures, with 78 degrees forecasted for Friday, after which it drops back down to highs of 75 and 73. Here's the rest of the forecast on weather.gov.
