Report: Police Investigate Theft at Durham Industrial Park
Thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of metal, according to police.
Thieves recently stole thousands of dollars worth of metal from a manufacturing company in Durham, police tell the Middletown Press.
Hobson and Motzer located at 30 Airline Road, was burglarized on Tuesday, Jan. 17, the report says.
Investigators tell the newspaper that the burglary does not appear to be related to recent residential burglaries in town.

I think it is time that there is more responsibility placed on "scrap" yards that buy this stolen material, to require more documentation as to where this scrap comes from before they accept it.
